Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy – Heyyjunior
At Heyyjunior, we value your trust and strive to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible. Please read our policy carefully before placing an order.
📦 Return / Replacement / Refund Policy
We accept return/replacement/refund requests only in the case of damaged or incorrect books/products. This policy is valid for 3 days from the date of delivery.
After 3 days, unfortunately, we won't be able to offer you a return, replacement, or refund.
🎥 Unboxing Video is Mandatory
To process any return, replacement, or refund request, a clear and uninterrupted unboxing video is mandatory. This helps us verify your claim.
Requests without the video will not be accepted under any circumstances.
📌 Return/Replacement Eligibility Based on Book Tags:
✅ Damages Covered Under This Policy (Books tagged “Like New”, “Very Good”, or “Brand New”)
- Severe spine damage (e.g. pages coming apart)
- In-transit damage that affects usability (minor bends or scratches are not covered)
- More than 2 pages misprinted, torn, or missing
- Heavy smudges making the text unreadable (must affect 2+ pages)
Note: In case of box sets (e.g., Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings etc.) damage to the outer box is not covered, unless the books themselves are damaged.
🚫 Return Not Applicable If:
- The damage is minor or cosmetic (e.g., bent corners, light scratches)
- The request is made after 3 days from the delivery date
- The unboxing video is not provided
Books tagged “Good” or “Acceptable”→ These are not eligible for return, replacement, or refund under any condition as we have predefined the quality of the book.
Note: We do not list unreadable books.
🔍 Condition of Preloved Books (Books tagged “Good”, “Acceptable", “Like New”, “Very Good” are all pre-loved Books):
As we sell preloved/used books, they may contain:
- Bent corners, dull covers
- Taped or slightly torn pages
- Library stamps, stickers, or seals
- General signs of wear and tear
📌Sound books: If they don't work upon delivery, changing the battery usually resolves the issue. We are not liable if they remain non-functional.
📘 Missing or Wrong Book Delivered
If you receive the wrong product or a book is missing, share the unboxing video within 3 days. We will offer a full reshipment or refund, as applicable.
⏳ Return / Replacement Processing Time
It may take 7 to 14 business days after we receive and verify the returned item and the unboxing video.
💰 Refund Method
- Prepaid Orders: Refunded to the original payment method.
- COD Orders: Refunded via UPI or Bank Transfer. We will contact you for account details.
🚚 Return Pick-up
Our courier partner will arrange the pickup of the returned item. Return shipping costs will be borne by Heyyjunior.
📦 Undelivered or Returned Packages
- If the courier fails to deliver and the package returns to us, a full refund will be issued.
- If the return is due to customer-related issues, the following applies:
- Order refused at delivery: Refund after deducting shipping charges.
- Incorrect address or contact details: Refund after deducting shipping charges.
❌ Order Cancellation by Customer
- Before Shipping: Full refund is provided.
- After Shipping: Cancellation is not possible. You may raise a return/replacement request (if eligible) after delivery.
- Prepaid Orders: Refunded to the original payment method.
❌ Order Cancellation by Heyyjunior
We reserve the right to cancel orders and issue full refunds in rare cases, such as:
- Product out of stock or wrong edition
- Product found damaged before dispatch
- Delivery restricted due to lockdowns, strikes, or other logistical issues
⏰ Late or Missing Refunds
- Double-check your bank statement
- Look for a refund confirmation email (from Razorpay or your payment provider)
